We invite you to explore the heart-opening practice of Bhakti Yoga and enjoy an inspiring evening of community and Kirtan.
We'll do some light stretches and chant the night away. Kirtan is not a performance, but a collective group offering. Together we will use our voices to participate in this uplifting and cathartic experience of chanting mantras.
No yoga mat is needed. The studio will provide props (blankets and bolsters).
No singing or chanting experience is necessary.
Option to bring an offering for the altar (candles, murtis, flowers, crystals, photos, feathers, trinkets and other treasures).
Come as you are with an open mind and an open heart, and feel the benefits and healing power of Kirtan!
Sound, Breath, Meditation, Restore
Every SECOND SUNDAY of the month at 6pm

Join us as we journey into flow state by way of asana, breath, and meditation, as you are moved by rhythm and vibration, and held in a state of harmony. In this 90 minute class you will experience a restorative yoga practice, a variety of pranayamas, guided meditation, with live musical sounds throughout. This class is open to the novice breathworker and yogi as well as experienced practitioners.

To ensure your spot you MUST sign up for class online.

If you arrive as a Walk In you may or may not get in to class
(applies especially to 6PMs, Noons, 10AMs F/S/S)
​
You must CANCEL 1/2 hour before class starts to avoid a FEE.
If you LATE CANCEL within the 1/2 hour, chances are you will not be charged if the class isn't full.
Regardless of when you cancel - YOU MUST CANCEL - this allows us to give your spot away & confirms you were not there.
This will also allow you to sign up for another class that day.

You may sign up for classes 7 days in advance.

There are 10 wait list spots. You will be notified by text.
You MUST opt into TEXT notifications
& you MUST CANCEL if you cannot make it.

​MAT & TOWEL ARE REQUIRED for class.
We HAVE rentals but prefer if you bring your own!
$2/mat $2/towel
​
Be responsible for your sweat.
You may need 2-3 towels.
Please clean up the area around your mat after class.
​
Doors open 15 minutes before class &
close 15 minutes after the class ends.
Please do not enter earlier than 15 minutes before class as we are letting the last class exit & preparing the room.
Please be respectful of this policy - it is an important piece in making things flow in our small space.

We LOCK THE DOOR when class begins.
Give yourself time to park & be on time.
There are NO CELL PHONES or Smart WATCHES allowed in class. For the love of god - UNPLUG for a minute.

There is a filtered water station.
Please bring a water bottle.
​
There are NO showers.
​
You may attend only ONE CLASS per day.
A second one can be taken as a walk in if you are not taking a spot from someone who hasn't gotten to practice that day.

There is not enough parking in the lot that we share.
Please give yourself time to PARK on the STREET!

We are located in Midtown across the street from Bay Photo.
718 Soquel Ave.
Our entrance is in the back. Turn down Caledonia St. and go right into the parking lot.
We share the parking lot with Ideal Jewelry & Confia Envia.
Please do not park along the fence (to the left) during their
business hours 11:00am -7:30pm Monday - Saturday
Village Yoga clients may park all along the fence (facing you as you enter the lot) at all times.
There is NOT ENOUGH parking for everyone in the lot. Please park on the street - Soquel is a great option, as is the Whole Foods parking lot. If you park in the neighborhood - DO NOT BLOCK driveways! Seems obvious but it is a real issue.
Mindfulness off the mat is what we can practice here!
