Breath work journeys are an embodiment experience that take you out of your thinking mind and into your body’s electrical network. It lets you release unneeded energy within this network caused by repeating thoughts, feelings, and old narratives by discharging it out through your body.

Your nervous system is the electrical network of your being. Over time, unresolved trauma or chronic stress causes dis-regulation of this network. When dis-regulated, difficulties in your personal or professional life arise. When you heal trauma and stress, you heal the electrical network of your nervous system. When you heal the nervous system, you heal the emotional self so your authentic self can emerge.

This breath work journey experience employs circular connected breathing coupled with rhythmic music to produce a cathartic emotional release. This release may be in the form of moving, shaking, yelling, crying, or laughing. Using the breath, you will engage your innate ability to heal and sweep out any defenses, blockages, restrictions, or pains that hold you back from who you are and how you want to show up in this world.


During our time together, I’ll be taking you through a 45 minute Breathwork journey.
The whole experience usually is about 2 hours and here’s the structure:

- Brief Educational Chat around Regulating the Nervous System

- Group Shares & Intention Setting

- Practicing Various Breathing Techniques

- The Breathwork Journey (just you and your breath, this is the bulk of the experience - approx 45 mins)

- Journaling & Sharing

- Closing Chat Around Integrating this Experience into Daily Life for Maximum Benefits

How to Prep:
Wear something breathable and comfy.
Do not eat 3 hours prior to our session.

Tension and Trauma Releasing Exercises Introductory Workshop

TRE is a simple, gentle and profound technique that facilities the lengthening and relaxation of the psoas muscle and the release of physical and emotional tension and stress. The TRE exercises mildly tire the legs, triggering an involuntary shaking and trembling response, which begins in the legs and often spreads throughout the body. This natural response is the nervous system’s way of discharging long-held tension and unconscious body contraction, caused by everyday stress and traumatic life experiences, in order to restore the body to wholeness.


TRE was developed by Dr. David Berceli, a bio-energetic therapist and social worker, who used it successfully worldwide working with soldiers, firefighters, police officers and survivors of war, natural disasters and other traumatic circumstances to help alleviate the many symptoms of post-traumatic stress. TRE is taught in over 80 countries worldwide.

Maria is a native Italian and a U.S. citizen since 1997.

Since 2004, Maria has facilitated TRE for thousands of people in the U.S., Canada, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. She assisted Dr. David Berceli, TRE’s founder, in dozens of trainings around the world, including co-teaching with him in Japan. Maria has led hundreds of public workshops and over 130 certification trainings worldwide.

Her eclectic background includes massage, dance, Chinese martial arts, international business management, acting and improvisational comedy, and decades of teaching yoga.

Maria is also the co-creator of Neurogenic Yoga ™, the sister method of TRE.

Hands On Assisting Workshop

This workshop will entail receiving and learning how to give hands on assists.
The fundamentals of assisting and how to learn from adjustments will be offered.
My intention is to offer an opportunity to explore the power of touch and feedback within the realm of yoga asana.
This workshop is for all levels of practitioners and instructors.

Ever wondered why it’s so hard to deliver your best under pressure? Ever thought it may be because we rarely train our mental skills under pressure, or even at all? 


Come join us (Shan Escarra, Village Yoga Teacher and PT,  and Leon, CEO and founder) for a 2Mynds workshop where you get to transform mental fitness with unique mind-body training! You will execute mental workouts in a relaxed state after which we’ll take you through a physical workout and repeat the same mental training under physical stress.

LisYin Yoga & Gratitude Practice
w. Lisa Marie, RYT 

November 10      6-7:30pm       $35

During this November workshop we will use embodied awareness, Yoga breathwork, and the buddhist practice of tonglen to cultivate gratitude in the body, mind, and heart.  (Tonglen is the buddhist practice of giving and receiving)

A grateful body is one that is soft, open, and receptive, especially around the heart. Cultivating an open heart and intentionally focusing on gratitude has been proven to produce the feel good hormones. This practice brings you more happiness, less stress, balanced energy,  better sleep, AKA as dopamine to release pain.

As we begin the holiday season we will send our own bodies/minds loving kindness through this Yin Yoga practice, and we will also meditate on sending this to our loved ones, our community, and our planet.

I’d love to practice with you! It’s been too long since we’ve all been together on the mat, where the magic happens.
